About Dr Lisa Wall

What we screen for alongside ADHD

During the assessment for ADHD, the doctor also screens for other neurodevelopmental conditions and signposts families so they can seek further assessment where needed. Examples include autism, Tourette's syndrome, dyspraxia, dyslexia and other learning difficulties. We do not assess these conditions at BZ Clinic.

Paediatricians are also trained to spot things like sleep problems, hearing difficulties or other health conditions that can look like ADHD or make it harder. Our guide to ADHD and related conditions explains more.

How we are regulated

Both our doctors are NHS consultant paediatricians, regulated by the General Medical Council (GMC). They work for an NHS provider that is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and both their NHS and private practice are appraised and audited every year through that NHS employer's appraisal system. For this reason BZ Clinic is not currently required to register with the CQC.

This may change following the government's recent review of ADHD services, and we are monitoring it closely. All our assessments follow NICE guidance and every appointment is face to face.

About the book

Questions parents ask

Are your doctors psychiatrists?

No. Both our doctors are consultant paediatricians: specialists in children's health and development. That means they look at a child's general health, as well as attention and behaviour, when they assess for ADHD.

Do you assess autism?

We assess ADHD only. During the assessment the doctor also screens for other conditions, including autism, Tourette's syndrome, dyspraxia and dyslexia, and will signpost you if something needs looking at.

Who will my child see?

Your child will see Dr Bozena Zoric or, from November 2026, Dr Lisa Wall. Camille will tell you who when she books the appointment.

Talk to us about an assessment

Camille, our clinic manager, will explain how it works, answer your questions and find you a date. No GP referral needed.
